Sixtus:  Oi don’t know about you, but it’s a relief to be out of Eddie’s trousers and back in the barn.

Anselm:  Me too.  It were gettin’ a bit ripe in there, even for us ferrets.

Sixtus:  Oi do miss the trips to the pub, though.  That were a bit of a laugh, joustin’ the girlies.

Anselm:  Oi didn’t see Clarrie laughin’, especially when Eddie put me down that Sabrina’s blouse.  Oi got stuck you know where and ‘e ‘ad to pull me out.

Sixtus:  That were some black eye Clarrie gave ‘im.

Anselm:  And ‘e’s still sleepin’ on the sofa.

Sixtus:  She used to be such a gentle soul, Clarrie,  and always good to us ferrets.

Anselm:  Yeah but she’s bin radicalised, ain’t she ?  Bin readin’ them Marxist pull-outs from The People’s Friend.  Wot ‘appended to the knitting patterns and recipes ?

Amir:  Anyone at home ?
