Episode 112
š¼. Dum ti dum ti dum ti dum...
Elizabeth: Hello, Mum, this is a nice surprise. I didnāt know you were coming.
Jill: Neither did I. I was just on my way to pick up something from Peggy when I saw the āFor Saleā sign at the end of your drive. Is business really so bad that youāre having to sell a cottage or something ?
Elizabeth: No, Mum, the whole lot is for sale although I will keep a cottage for Freddy and Lily - I couldnāt leave them homeless, obviously.
Jill: I canāt believe it ! Whatās brought this on ?

Jill: But what about the children ? How do they feel about this ?
Elizabeth: Well, theyāre not very happy but they have had a good start in life and are well able to look after themselves. Iām giving them the old gamekeeperās cottage on the edge of the estate. And they can visit me in France or wherever I end up.
Jill: Youāre going abroad ? This just gets worse. Youāll be on your own in a strange country.
Elizabeth: But I wonāt be on my own, Russ is coming with me.
Jill: Russ ! That smug, sneaky, sleazy, supercilious, two-timing BEEP ...
Elizabeth: Mum, please control yourself. Thereās no need for that language.
Jill: Oh, there is. Can you really sell Lower Loxsley ? Surely Nigel left it in a trust for the children ?
Elizabeth: He did talk to me about doing that a few years ago but he never got round to it.
Jill: Why ever not ?
Elizabeth: He fell off the roof the next day.
Jill: Oh no, Elizabeth, you didnāt ...
