Episode 116
🎼. Dum ti dum ti dum ti dum...
Freddie: So how do you feel about Mum taking off with Russ ?
Lily: Embarrassed, mostly, there is a bit of an age gap.
Freddie: He does seem to be a man who likes an age gap although this time he’s the toy boy. But I thought you were in love with him ?
Lily: I’m more in love with Lower Loxsley and our life here. Dad would be devastated if he knew what Mum was planning to do.
Freddie: You’re right - we need to find a way to stop this happening. We must have some legal rights, surely ?
Lily: We need to speak to Usha and get some advice on inheritance law. I can’t believe Dad didn’t mean us to inherit Lower Loxsley - he always talked about keeping it in the family for future generations of Pargetters.
Freddie: To be honest, Lily, something stinks about this and it’s not just Russ. I think we need to have it out with Mum now.
Lily: You mean out here in the garden ?
Freddie: No, let’s go up to the roof. We can see the whole estate from there.
