Episode 122
🎼. Dum ti dum ti dum ti dum...
Jennifer: Oh Brian, it’s absolute Heaven to be back at Home Farm. I can look everyone in the eye again at the Ladies Lunch Club and it’s all thanks to you.
Brian: It’s really Kate that you have to thank for this. She found out what your mother and Jill were up to from Jakob and I just had to apply a little pressure.
Jennifer: Well I can’t wait to get back into the kitchen and start cooking proper lunches and dinners again. It was impossible to do anything worthwhile in that dreadful shoebox. I think we need a big family party to celebrate. I’m sure we could persuade Debbie to come over from Hungary.
Brian: Perhaps we should just let the dust settle for the moment. Peggy wasn’t entirely happy about giving up Jakob and handing over the cash to buy this place - let’s not rub her face in it.
Jennifer: You’re probably right, let's just enjoy being home again - a fresh start for both of us. I think I went a little mad over the past few months what with Jo and that terrible WI event but that’s all behind me now. I’m so calm and relaxed here.
Brian: That’s my girl. Now if you’re so keen to cook I’d better go out and shoot some defenceless animals.
Jennifer: And I’m going to start tidying up this place - Jo has left a lot of her rubbish lying about. Now what’s in this box ?
(sound of screaming)
Brian: Jenny ! What’s wrong ?
Jennifer: That bitch ! She’s cut up my Ferragamos !
🎼. Dum ti dum ti dum ti dum...
(Ed. Another trip to the handbag shop for Brian.)
