Episode 144
🎼. Dum ti dum ti dum ti dum...
Jennifer: It’s so wonderful to be back here at Home Farm again - I think we should have a big party to celebrate.
Brian: Whatever you like, darling. Were you thinking of inviting your mother since she bought the place ?
Jennifer: Certainly not. She has behaved disgracefully in her pursuit of Jakob, never mind those outrageous WI events. We can’t have Jill, either, after the lemon drizzle affair and the pole dancing at Brookfield.
Brian: Well, Kate and Jakob won’t come since Kate doesn’t let Jakob out of the house these days in case some Beast of Ambridge harridan gets her hands on him.
Jennifer: At least Alice will be here now she’s moved back home but obviously not Christopher and his parents, thank God. With any luck I’ll never have to speak to Susan Carter socially again. Lilian and Justin will come of course.
Brian: I don’t think so, Jenny. Justin hasn’t spoken to me since I pulled his leg about the pig slurry cock-up at Berrow Farm. And the rest of the Borchester Land Board follow his lead. How about Shula ?
Jennifer: Another definite no. Apparently she threatened Alan in church with a shotgun ! Goodness knows what she might do if she has a drink. And Alan is now afraid to leave the vicarage so he and Usha won’t come.
Brian: How about Alistair and Jim ?
Jennifer: Oh, I don’t think so. Jim is so dull and pedantic and can only talk about ancient Greeks while Alistair is just dull. And they would have to bring Jazzer since he lives with them.
Brian: If you want someone to liven up the place, there’s always Jolene.
Jennifer: Sorry, darling, but she might turn up with her karaoke machine and she is trade...
Brian: Eddie and Clarrie ?
Jennifer: Ha ha, very funny.
Brian: Well, it’s beginning to sound more like a select family gathering than a big party. We’ve got Adam and Ian of course.
Jennifer: And perhaps Debbie could come over from Hungary ?

(Ed. That bird has flown, Jennifer. )
Jenny still hasn't realised that Debbie has a job in another soap opera
